As a Senior Associate at Fairchild Partners, Jonathan Lay brings more than ten years of real estate appraisal and brokerage experience in South Florida’s real estate industry. Jonathan supports the firm’s landlord representation, tenant representation, and property acquisition and disposition in the office, retail and industrial markets within South Florida. In addition to being a sales associate, he is licensed as a Certified Real Estate Appraiser.
Jonathan always goes the extra mile in assisting his clients with their commercial investment needs in various sought-after areas of South Florida. He creates comprehensive solutions for his clients by providing market analysis, financial analysis, transaction structuring, and strategic planning throughout the entire real estate process. Jonathan’s recent South Florida transactions include properties in Downtown Doral, Kendall Summit, Plumer Building, MAPFRE Building, and the acquisition of the Orchid House in Miami Beach.
In addition to being a part of the CIASF family, Jonathan is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW-Miami), and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Candidate.
Born in New Orleans, Jonathan moved to Miami when he was nine years old and attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory School. Jonathan is fluent in both English and Italian. He graduated from Florida International University (FIU) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Real Estate followed by a double Master’s Degree in Finance and International Real Estate.
On the weekends you can find Jonathan on the beach with his wife, Krystelle, and their Chihuahua, Taco, who is Fairchild Partners’ official mascot.
