“I am most proud of the role that I have played in assembling an outstanding team at our great bank. We have become an employer of choice for many bankers in South Florida. Our sincere camaraderie, integrity and commitment to our clients’ needs, not quotas, has allowed us to attract the best of bankers. We employ banking professionals that love banking and value relationships. We deliver superior service coupled with the newest technology. I really do love what I do and enjoy coming to work every day!”
Veronica is the youngest of 10 children all born in Miami.
“We did not have a lot of material stuff when we were growing up. We had a very strong family upbringing of keeping God and family in our lives. We were taught from a very young age important lessons in ethics and morality. The lessons that I learned early have carried me well throughout my life. I work to always do the right thing, even when no one is looking. I really try to give a helping hand to others in order to facilitate their success. There is no better reward as a manager than to see people around you develop and grow. I always look to hire people that are smart and keep me challenged. I love my husband of 35 years! My two sons and my grandson bring me great happiness and joy. We love to spend time on our boat and at our weekend home in Islamorada when we are not working.”
