Jose I. Juncadella, Principal of Coral Gables-based Fairchild Partners, recently announced that his firm has negotiated five tenant representation transactions totaling more than 45,000 square feet in the last six months.
Senior Vice President Tony Puente, CCIM represented Bermello Ajamil & Partners, Inc., a multi-disciplinary award-winning design and project delivery firm with offices worldwide, in the renewal of their lease at the SBS Tower for a 24,841-square-foot space.
He also negotiated a lease renewal and expansion at SBS Tower for Somos TV, LLC, a Miami-based media company engaged in the production, distribution, and marketing of high-quality Spanish-language television in the Americas. The media company will continue using the 9,694-square-foot space for their headquarters. The landlord representation was handled by Alfred Martinez of Key Realty Advisors, Inc.
In Coral Gables, Puente represented DIBroker/Eskra & Associates, a large independent wholesaler of disability insurance, in negotiating their lease renewal of 4,092 square feet of space at 100 Miracle Mile.
At 2121 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, he negotiated a renewal and expansion lease for Perez-Abreu, Aguerrebere, Sueiro & Torres, P.L. for 6,884 square feet of space. The landlord at 2121 Ponce de Leon Blvd was represented by Doug Okun of Continental Real Estate Companies.
Puente also negotiated a 2,101-square-foot space at the SunTrust Building at 777 Brickell Ave. for The Hanover Insurance Company in co-brokerage with DTZ Americas. Andrew Trench from Taylor & Mathis represented the landlord at 777 Brickell Ave.
Puente states, “These clients have all understood the value of adjusting their offices premises to current needs and locking in today’s rental rates as the Miami office market continues to tighten due to the strong local economy and the lack of significant new office buildings coming on-line.”
Juncadella will take the helm at CIASF effective April 1.
