In her 40-plus years in South Florida commercial real estate, Sandra Goldstein has established a reputation for expertise in a wide range of brokerage services that cover the leasing, sale, and acquisition of commercial properties. site selection, land assemblage, and urban redevelopment with strategic knowledge of brownfield opportunities and incentive programs are her particular strengths.
Clients of this service-oriented Miami commercial real estate firm have included individual buyers, sellers, and tenants as well as REITs, insurance companies, healthcare and education providers, law firms, and private investors.
Known for her integrity and commitment to serving clients, Ms. Goldstein began her career preparing and conducting closings of VA, FHA and conventional mortgages. In 1975 she was promoted to vice president of MGIC Janis, a prominent Florida shopping center builder and land developer. In that position, she gained deep expertise in land banking, zoning and permitting, master planning, and marketing of large scale projects. A broker formerly with Codina-Bush-Klein Realty, a division of The Codina-Bush Group (1994-1999), she subsequently formed Miami-based Sandra Goldstein and Associates, Inc., now known as Sandra Goldstein Commercial Real Estate.
Ms. Goldstein was the first woman to be installed as president of the Commercial Realtors Association of Greater Miami and has served on the boards of directors of Bank United and Florida Savings Bank.
As chairman of the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches (2000-01), she spearheaded a Smart Growth initiative in Florida and achieved national recognition from the National Association of Realtors. Her personal commitment to environmental and community values resulted in the passage of long term state funding programs for beach re-nourishment in the Village of Key Biscayne and throughout Florida.
An active member of CREW Miami (Commercial Real Estate Women) since 2000, she earned the prestigious Certificate Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 1984. She is currently the designated commercial real estate broker for the newly formed BNI Key Biscayne Chapter.
Sandra is married to Julian Goldstein, an insurance executive, and has two sons. Jonathan Goldstein, a partner with Heidrick & Struggles New York office and heads the Global Private Equity Practice in the Americas, and Michael R. Goldstein, Managing Shareholder of The Goldstein Environmental Law Firm, specializing in areas of environmental law and environmental redevelopment. Jonathan is married to Valeria, a CPA, and has two sons, Matthew and Eli.
Sandra is a long time practioner of yoga and meditation.
