State Street Realty President George Pino, SIOR, RPA has received the “2014 Industrial Broker of the Year” award from the South Florida Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
NAIOP honors the best development companies, real estate projects, deals, and dealmakers of the year through annual awards given by its North American chapters to local commercial real estate companies and professionals.
Pino was named “Industrial Broker of the Year” during the Chapter’s recent 2014 Annual Awards of Excellence Awards Gala. A four-time recipient of this prestigious award, Pino was honored for delivering a tremendous portfolio of transactions for State Street Realty’s valued clients’ properties in 2014 that includes brokering more than 80 new sale and lease deals totaling more than 1 million square feet and worth over $80 million, the company record for the year.
For over 20 years, Pino has consistently been a top producing South Florida broker with State Street Realty and during his tenure with Flagler Real Estate Services and Codina Group. Pino was also one of only 15 commercial real estate professionals selected nationally as an ONCOR International Top Producer. Most recently, he was named a Power Leader in Commercial Real Estate by the South Florida Business Journal and has been recognized as a CoStar “Power Broker” the past 13 years starting in 2003 through 2015.
Pino is a lifelong resident of South Florida and is fluent in both English and Spanish. He holds a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation. His professional affiliates and community involvement include: Orange Bowl Committee, 2011-2015 Board of Directors – Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida (CIASF), Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), National Association of Office & Industrial Properties (NAIOP), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), South Florida Office Brokers Association (SFOBA). Community Involvement includes serving at the following organizations: Orange Bowl Committee, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Redlands Migrant Family Association and the Mike Lowell Charity Foundation. In addition, Mr. Pino serves on the Advisory Committee and is a member of the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida.
